Built to Work When It Matters Most
Four stages of mechanical filtration, up to 1,800 gallons, ready the second you need it.
Most "survival straws" are untested factory parts shipped straight from a warehouse to your door. Ours go through a 4-step verification process before they're allowed near your family's water supply.
Materials You Can Drink Through
Built from BPA-free, FDA food-contact-compliant polypropylene, the same material standard used in IV filters and infant feeding equipment. No mystery plastics. No chemical leaching.
99.99% Removal, Verified by Outside Labs
We don't self-certify. Independent third-party labs verify every batch removes 99.99% of bacteria, protozoa, and microplastics, the same standard your home water filter is held to.
Third-Party Tested
PureFlow is lab-verified, third-party tested for bacteria and protozoa removal. Pureflow is also pressure-tested for membrane integrity and leak resistance.
Never Expires. Ever.
Most "survival" filters expire in 3 to 5 years, chemicals break down, carbon goes bad, batteries die. Ours has no expiration date when you store it dry and away from freezing temps. Pure mechanical filtration means you store it once, and it's ready in year one or year fifteen.

Independently lab tested. Built to outlast anything on the trail-gear shelf.
It is definitely a straw, that gives us peace of mind to own. Hope we will never have to use them. I only gave the item 4 stars, only because I have not actually tried it out.
I haven't used them, but can see worldwide trouble ahead and want to be ready. I want the sleeping bags too, but am retired and can't do it all at once. I think we meed to be prepared!!
The purchase and shipping went as planned with no problems. So far I haven’t had the neeed to use them, they were purchased as an emergency supply item,
I ordered 10 strawss and received 10 straws. They came from Pure Flow so I’m hoping they are real and not fake, but I don’t want to cut one open to find out.
I cannot rate this higher than a 4 star at this time. I have not sampled a stick in any conditions or even opened one.
I am, however rating this at 4 stars. Because of the information I've received and ratings, these water sticks are very comparable to my previous ones. Maybe even better. Once I try a stick in multiple conditions, I will re-rate and update my review.
Although we have not yet had to use our Pure Flow Straws, and hope we never have to, we are nevertheless impressed by their quality both in design and materials. Ordering was easy and they were delivered quickly.
I do not know how to destroy works because it’s supposed to be used in a case of an emergency. Thank goodness I don’t have one so I can’t tell you more about your product. All I can say That if the time comes, I have something to use. Hopefully I won’t need to use it.
I bought them not only for my self but for my daughters to have in their emergency kits. Basically for my peace of mind, and their preparedness. I’ll probably buy more for each vehicle. We travel long distances. I have emergency kits for each vehicle. I keep adding more things to my kits.
Hi I received the straws very quickly so thank you for prompt service BUT I’m not sure on exactly how to use it yet . Can someone from the Company please explain ? I attached a bottle containing dirty water to the bottom and squeezed it and the same brown water came out the mouth piece . I think I need clear instructions because I’m obviously not using it right . Thanks 🙏
I tried it and it works. If something happens to our water supply and I had to use the airflow straw I would feel confident to drink water from a ditch or pond.
If your PureFlow shows up damaged, doesn't filter the way we say it does, or you get the wrong item, we'll fix it, replace it, or refund it within 30 days of delivery.
Real Families. Real Peace of Mind.
Thousands of families already have theirs. Join them today.
Because we can't control what happens to it once it's in Amazon's warehouse system. Amazon commonly stores inventory from different sellers together under the same listing, a practice called commingling, so a customer who orders "PureFlow" can end up with a counterfeit unit that never touched our pressure-testing process, made with materials we never verified. That's a huge risk for a product you're trusting to filter your family's water.
Selling only through our own site means every unit that reaches you went through our actual testing process, and if anything's wrong, our 30-day guarantee actually means something, because we know exactly where your straw came from. It's more work for us. It's the only way we can stand behind what we're telling you it does.
Can I use this every day, or only in emergencies?
Either one. It's built to sit in a drawer for years and work the day you need it, but there's nothing stopping you from using it camping, on a hike, or as your everyday backup. Just remember it only removes bacteria, protozoa, and microplastics, so it's not a replacement for treated tap water on a normal day.
Does it remove viruses, chemicals, or heavy metals?
No. The PureFlow straw is a mechanical microfilter; it removes bacteria, protozoa, and microplastics. Not viruses, chemicals, or heavy metals. We tell you that upfront because knowing your gear's limits matters as much as the gear itself. For viruses, pair it with purification tablets or UV treatment. For chemicals, you'd need activated carbon or reverse osmosis.
1,800 gallons, how long does that actually last?
At a gallon a day, the minimum recommended amount, that's nearly 5 years from a single straw. A family of four drinking a gallon each per day gets over a year from one straw, and most families keep more than one. Straws that cap out at 500 to 1,000 gallons give you a fraction of that.
How does 0.01 micron compare to other straws?
Most common straws filter down to 0.1 or 0.2 microns. PureFlow filters to 0.01 microns, 10 to 20 times finer. In a real emergency you're not drinking from a clean mountain stream, you're dealing with urban runoff, standing water, and ditches. Tighter filtration means fewer threats getting through.
How many should I buy for my family?
The rule is two is one, one is none. At a minimum, one per family member. Most prepared families order 3 to 5 to cover a bug-out bag, a get-home bag, a vehicle kit, and a home cache. Kids can carry their own too, the suction design is simple enough for supervised use.
What water sources can I use it with?
Rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, puddles, rainwater, and ditches, any freshwater source. Don't use it with saltwater or industrial chemical runoff.
Does it expire, and how should I store it?
No expiration date, as long as you store it dry and away from freezing temperatures. Pure mechanical filtration means there's no media to break down. Store it once, and it works the same in year one and year fifteen. Just make sure it's fully dry before long-term storage to prevent mold, and keep it somewhere it won't freeze.
What if it doesn't work, or I get the wrong item?
You're covered by our 30-day guarantee. If it arrives damaged, doesn't filter the way we say it does, or you get the wrong item, we'll fix it, replace it, or refund it within 30 days of delivery.
They Work Perfectly
Water straws were exactly as advertised. So very easy to use. Feel well prepared now in the event of an emergency, knowing I can drink clean water. Thank you!!

Bought Plenty For My Loved Ones
Arrived in good shape, well packed with lots of bubble wrap. Have given some to my sister, some to my oldest daughter to have for her and her father (he’s disabled, she is his care-giver), and have more to offer my son when he comes to visit. Glad to have them.

My Son Tested It
It just rained here, so my son went to the mud puddle and pulled some water from there and drank .. he said it works great ! I’m 75 so I’ll take his word for it…

One Less Thing to Worry About
You'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it, right?
Filter, not purifier. PureFlow filters are water filters. They remove 99.99% of bacteria and protozoa. They do not remove viruses, dissolved chemicals, or heavy metals.
PureFlow Emergency Water Filter Straw Storage. No expiration date when stored dry. Do not allow the filter to freeze. Dry before storage.
Emergency Radio. Receives NOAA weather, AM, and FM broadcasts. It does not auto-alert or tone-activate, and it is not a public-alert (SAME) weather radio. Water-resistant (IPX-3), not waterproof. The phone charge covers essential calls and texts, not a full charge.
14-Day Kit. "14 days" refers to the emergency window, not a supply of food. Includes a short-term food ration only. Food contents contain wheat and dairy allergens.
PureFlow Emergency Water Filter Straw Materials. Water-contact materials are FDA food-contact-compliant and BPA-free.
*Removes 99.99% of bacteria and protozoa. Does not remove viruses or chemicals. Performance claims substantiated by third-party testing; full details available on request.
