Cautions & Limitations

Intended Use Only: This straw is made for personal use as a portable water filter. It is not a replacement for home watersystems, municipal supplies, or professional purificationequipment. Each straw should be used by only one person to prevent the spread of any illness and diseases.

Limitations of Filtration: The filter reduces bacteria, parasites, and particulates. It does not remove allmicroorganisms, viruses, chemicals, heavy metals, salts, ortoxins. Always consider additional purification methods whenneeded.

No Guarantee of Complete Safety: Even with proper use, there is always some risk when drinking untreated water. PureFlow does not guarantee absolute water purity orprotection against illness. Use at your own discretion and risk. Performance may be reduced in extreme environments such as high altitude, freezing conditions, or stagnant/swampy waters. Water may still have odors, tastes, or discoloration even afterfiltration.

Not for Seawater or Polluted Liquids: Not for Seawater orPolluted Liquids: Do not use with saltwater, industrial waste, chemically contaminated water, fuel, or any unknown liquids. Designed for freshwater sources only. If the water sourceshows signs of chemical pollution (such as oil sheen, strongodor, or unnatural color), do not attempt to filter it. Discardthe straw immediately if exposed to such liquids.

Health Risks: People with compromised immune systems, chronic illnesses, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals or individuals with underlying medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before relying on this product. Moreover, these individuals should avoid relying solely on this product. If you feel unwell after drinking through it, seek immediate medical care. Do not attempt to drink while lying flat on your back, running, or operating a vehicle. Do not attempt to inhale, blow air into, or use as a snorkel or breathing tube. Do not share the straw among multiple people without proper sanitation. By using this product, you acknowledge that drinking untreated water carries inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with its use.

Age Restriction: Not suitable for children under 18 years old. Keep out of reach of infants and vulnerable individuals.

Supervision & Responsibility: Never allow unsupervised use. Users are fully responsible for evaluating water sources and deciding when additional purification steps are required.

Filter Life & Duration: The straw does not have a fixed expiration date. The lifespan depends on water quality: clearer water allows longer use, while dirty water clogs the filter faster and reduces capacity. Once first used, the product should be discarded after 6 months, even if water is still flowing, due to potential bacterial buildup inside the filter that may compromise safety.

First-Time Use: Discard the first few sips of water to flush the filter before drinking.

Flow Restriction & End of Use: The filter will eventually become blocked as it reaches capacity. Do not force water through a clogged or damaged filter. Replace immediately when flow stops or weakens significantly.

Cleaning & Maintenance: After each use, backflush, shake out excess water, and allow to dry. This helps extend the lifeof the filter and reduces bacterial buildup. Failure to maintain it may increase health risks.

Temperature & Storage: Do not expose to extreme heat, direct, chemicals, freezing, hot or boiling water, microwaves, dishwashers or freezers. Do not expose to open flames, stoves, or campfires. If the straw has been frozen, it must be discarded—internal damage may make it unsafe. Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Do not store or use in contaminated containers (fuel cans, paint buckets, chemical bottles, etc.).

Liquids Not Allowed: Do not use with juices, coffee, tea, sodas, alcohol, oil, chemicals, fuel, industrial waste or anything other than freshwater. Do not use with human or animal bodily fluids.

Misuse: Do not chew, bite, cut, burn, or otherwise damage the straw. Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, or repair. Do not attempt to use the filter as a regular straw for soft drinks or food. Do not swallow or ingest any part of the filter or plastic housing. Do not drop from heights, crush, or apply excessive pressure. Do not use as a medical device, toy, or weapon. Do not use as a stirring stick, funnel, or tool for anything other than drinking water. Do not insert foreign objects or substances into either end of the straw. Do not attempt to filter seawater, wastewater, or water visibly mixed with oil, heavy metals, or hazardous chemicals.

Personal Use Only: This straw is designed for individual, short-term use. It is not intended to supply water for families, groups, or communities.

Warranty & Liability: This product is covered only against manufacturing defects within 90 days of purchase. Modifying, tampering with, or attempting to repair the filter voids all warranty and liability. Users are responsible for complying with local laws and regulations regarding water treatment devices. In no event shall Gbon Global d.o.o.'s liability exceed the purchase price of the product, regardless of the cause of action. Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gbon Global d.o.o., its affiliates, distributors, and retailers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from their use or misuse of the product.

Legal Disclaimer: By purchasing and/or using this product, you acknowledge and agree that GBon Global d.o.o. is not responsible for any injury, illness, or death resulting from misuse, abuse, or use outside of the stated instructions. Misuse includes, but is not limited to, any of the actions described above and any other unreasonable, unsafe, or unintended use of the product. Users are solely responsible for evaluating water safety, maintaining the straw, and replacing it as directed. GBon Global d.o.o., its distributors, and sellers disclaim all liability for damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, arising from use or misuse of this product.

Severability Clause: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Jurisdiction & Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this product shall be governed exclusively by the substantive law of the Republic of Slovenia, to the exclusion of its conflict-of-laws rules. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is expressly excluded. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
