The straw is a filter, not a purifier. It removes 99.99% of bacteria and protozoa down to 0.01 microns. It does not remove viruses, chemicals, or heavy metals. For those, pair it with tablets, UV, or a carbon filter.

 

It needs a little storage care. The biscuit ration keeps for 3 to 5 years. The straw has no expiration date when you store it dry, but don't let it freeze, and let it dry out if it ever gets wet.

Well, I’ve constantly been communicating with them since I bought two kits. Neither came with the military tourniquets, and I’ve tried to get them to send me the tourniquets. They’ve done everything they could to make it nearly impossible to get them. They’ve made seem as if I a at fault or lying I’ve had to unpack both kitssend photos of both kits I am at a point now, where they claim that they have passed this on for review and are going to determine through their review. If I am eligible to receive the missing items, the military grade tourniquets I’ve yet to hear anything back from them. This appears to be a stalling tactic so that they will not have to send me the military grade Tourniquet. As the time line for issue of this type will be up.
